Acquaintance Party 2010

As the new semester opens, another year of fun & learnings also awaits just like the acquaintance party 2010 had last June 16 at the Music Warehouse Meycauayan. The event was hosted by Mr. Arnold Jingco-STI College-Meycauayan's Admissions Officer and Steven L. Dela Cruz. The event was participated by new students and some old students.

The acquaintance party aims to unite the new students and socialize each other even if they have different courses, fields and interests. The students also enjoyed the event because of the games prepared for them. Induction of different organization officers happened, Faces of the night and King & Queen of hearts was also crowned.

The ABS-CBN STI parallel random count 2010

Last May 10, 2010 STI College-Meycauayan with the participation of selected mags member and staff joined the ABS-CBN STI parallel random count for the national positions. The election returns were gathered in Constantino Elementary school, Marulas Central Elementary school and Gen-T De Leon Elementary school in Valenzuela City.

The team was composed of field tabulators, team leaders, poll chief and data encoders. Field tabulators, poll chief and team leaders headed to their assigned schools at 3.00 pm and started gathering the election returns from 10:00pm to 1:00 am and went back to STI College-Meycauayan campus to encode the ER gathered.

STI College-Meycauayan is very proud for being a part of this historical event in the Philippine elections. Because of this, STI has proven its awareness and involvement in different society-related activities in building the nation.
