STI Local Competition 2008

The STI Local Competition is one of the much awaited event in all of the STI Schools nationwide, because there will be a variety of students who will show their talents in different categories from Battle of the Bands, Hataw Sayaw, Vocal Solo Singing Competition and Mr. & Ms. STI 2008.
The STI Local Competition of STI College-Meycauayan was held in SM City Marilao Last July 22,2008 and is hosted by the Admission Officers Ms. Loida Cruz and Mr. Jeffrey Capalad.

The event Started from Battle of the bands which made the Audience wild, and it was the band Sparkle who got the 1st place and the Rock Pitch Band who won the Champion. Vocal Solo Singing Competition took over the stage and each of the contestants gave their very best to have a ground-breaking number, but it was Ryan Paul Repuesto who declared as the champion and Erika Sagcal in 1st place while Rose Ann Panlilio in 2nd place.

The Champion Title for Hataw Sayaw was competed by 4 groups that really made the audience groove but at the end of the day it was the STI All Star Dancers who got the Top Spot and certified Play Boys rank at the 1st Place.

The much awaited part of the event has finally come, the Mr. & Ms. STI 2008,where Candidates compete with different categories, the Casual Wear, Sports Wear, and the Formal Wear.

When the Casual, Sports and Formal Wear finished the some of the Candidates recieved special awards. Candidate Number 10 Neil John Dela Cruz received Special awards like, Best in Casual, Sports, Formal Wear and Mr. Photogenic, he is also Declared as the Mr. STI 2008. Candidate number 8 Steven Dela Cruz also got the Best in Production No., while in the Ladies, Candidate No. 5 Joana Rafael got the Best in Formal, and Sports wear, she was also the Ms. Photogenic and declared as the Ms. STI 2nd Runner Up, Candidate No. 9 Sainab Daza recieved the Best in Production No. and Casual Wear, and also declared as the Ms. STI 1st Runner - Up. Candidate no. 5 Harry Alcantara Placed in Mr. STI 2nd Runner- Up, Candidate No. 7 Marvin Zuñiga won the Mr. STI 1st Runner - Up and Candidate No. 8 Nelieza Calayag Declared as the Ms. STI 2008.

Acquaintance Party 2008

Acquaintance Party 2008 is the very first event organized by MAGS last July 10,2008 and held in the Music Warehouse, with the help of I.T. Logs Officers and their President Arnold Jingco that turned the event successful.

The event is hosted by the Admission officers of STI - Meycauayan Mr. Jeffrey Capalad & Ms. Loida Cruz who also gave an introduction number. The STI All Star Dancer also made the crowd wild as they groove into the beat.

There were also an awarding for the Dean's Listers from the last term, Oath taking for the members of different organizations, and games for all the student who attended the event, and was hosted by Mr. Arnold Jingco

The Faculty also supported the event headed by the COO of STI College - Meycauayan Ms. Blesilda Mediran but the event wouldn't be more successful without the participation of the students at that night.

New Student's Career Orientation of STI College - Meycauayan

Last June 26, 2008, Thursday, The Orientation seminar for the new students of STI College - Meycauayan was held।Where the Rules and regulations was discussed and the members of the staff and faculty was also introduced.
