The Change I Want to See Begins with Me

Once again, STI has held its annual anniversary last August 26, 2011 at the enchanted kingdom amusement park, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This year, the STI family together with STIers from across the country celebrate its 28th year.

This year's anniversary is themed The Change I want to See Begins with Me. " The challenge for change is inspired by last year’s theme Citizen STI. From picking up litter and conserving water to being constantly on time, the STI Community embarks on a journey that would mold good behavior and lifestyle with the hope that in the future, these would lead to the founding of new citizens armed and ready to create positive transformations for our country." according to STI website

The STI Anniversary also served as the celebration of talents of every STIers which held the National competition of cluster representatives all over the country such as Battle of the Bands, Vocal Singing Competition, Hataw Sayaw Dance Competition and Mr. & Ms. STI 2011.

Aside from it, Tagisan ng Talino will also be held as mentioned in the STI website "In the coming months, academic competitions like ThinkQuest (team quiz), INTO Programming (computer programming), Stand up & Deliver (impromptu speech), Essay Does It! (essay writing), Bits and PCs (PC assembly), All in Place (table setting with menu card preparation), Center of Attention (edible centerpiece presentation) and Chef Xpress (cooking competition) will be held across the STI Network still in accord with the anniversary celebration."

BULPRISA 2011

BULPRISA (Bulacan Private Schools Association) is an annual competition of cultural and athletics in BULACAN. BULPRISA is a prestige competition for over fifty years that is participated by most of private schools in Bulacan. Last September 2011, the STIers once joined the BULPRISA and competed with other students from different colleges around the district IV. The winners in the district-IV competed in the provincial-meet that was held last October 2011. 

STI College-Meycauayan participated the athletics and cultural events. Talumpating handa, oration, talumpating 'di-handa, extemporaneous speech, tula, sanaysay, essay writing, poster making, duet and solo singing competition are the events joined by STI in cultural category while the basketball, volleyball, table tennis, & chess competition are the events competed by STIers in athletics category.

As STI College Meycauayan continue to join different events that nurture the talents of STIers, they become positive change and inspiration agents. Also, STIers are able to develop and recognize their talent as their contribution to the community. 

The STI Cluster-10 Competition 2011

Last August 10, 2011 the STIers were thrilled and amazed because of the beauty and talent shown by all the STIers from Bulacan for the Cluster-10 Competion. The competition was held at the Event Center of SM City Marilao, that was participated by STI Balagtas, STI Baliuag, STI Sta. Maria, STI Malolos and STI Meycauayan. Each school has its own representatives and the winners for this event will be competing for the STI National Competition 2011 at the Echanted Kingdom, Laguna. STI launched the theme "The Change I Want to See Begins with Me" that was also used as the theme for the competition.
