Intramurals 2009

Another year has passed again. But before the year ended, STI College-Meycauayan heated up 2009 because of the Intramural that was participated by the students of STI College-Meycauayan.

The event was held at the Constantino Gym in Marilao, Bulacan last December 14-16. The event was hosted by Mr. Arnold Jingco-Career Adviser, and Steven Dela Cruz. There were nine event categories in different schedules and venues from day 1 to day 3 which were the Cheer Dance Competition, Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Darts, Bowling, Badminton, Billiards, and Table Tennis.

Day 1 started by the Parade of Participants from STI College-Meycauayan campus to the Constantino Gym followed by the Cheer Dance Competition in morning and Basketball event in the afternoon. Meanwhile, in day 2, simultaneous events were started in different venues for Basketball & Volleyball(Constantino Gym), Badminton(MBC Marilao), Bowling(JM Mendoza), Darts(Constantino Gym), Table Tennis & Chess(STI Meycauayan Campus). And finally on the day 3, Billiards was also set in Music Warehouse and the Championship Day. And after all of the events, awarding of winners was held at the STI College-Meycauayan Campus that was hosted by Mr. Arnold Jingco.

STI Meycauyan Local Talent Search 2009

Aside from quality education, STI also nurtures the talents of its students in both academic and talent. STI has been celebrating its 26th anniversary with the theme, Simulan Natin, and as start of the celebration, STI Meycauayan held its Local Competition at SM City Marilao last July 31, 2009, participated by the faculty, staff, students & parents. The event was hosted by Ms. Nicole Ann Ladroma and Mr. Arnold Jingco. The winners of each event will represent STI Meycauayan and compete in the Cluster Competition along with other STI campuses here in Bulacan.

The Invocation started the program followed by the National Anthem and STI Hymn. After this, the competition has started with the Battle of the Bands where there were eight contestants followed by the Vocal Solo Singing Competition composed of six contestants, the Hataw Sayaw, which has eight contestants, and the much awaited Mr. & Ms. STI Meycauayan composed of eight gentlemen & ten lovely ladies.
